Come join fellow Wolverine Alumni for the annual Volunteer Day on Friday, November 3rd, 2017, 9:30 am to 12:00 pm at Focus Hope in Detroit. Focus Hope asks that you arrive a little earlier than the 9:30 am start time for a brief orientation. The maximum amount of volunteers is 25. Volunteers will be packing non-perishable food items for home bound senior citizens.
The Focus Hope Food Program (http://www.focushope.edu/) feeds more than 42,000 people each month. These packed items include canned goods, juice, rice, cereal, cheese, and powdered milk. Each completed box will have about 35 pounds of grocery items. We will begin packing boxes at 9:30 am and will run until noon. The location for the event is at the Central Warehouse located at 1200-B Oakman Blvd, Detroit, Michigan. We look forward to seeing all the volunteers on November 3rd.
